Our Service
We offer a mobile sharpening service in Sydney and Greater Sydney, NSW.
All sharpening is done on site in our van with our own power supply, at your home or business.

We Sharpen kitchen knives, Japanese (Damascus) knives (hand sharpening available), bread/serrated knives, table/steak knives, kitchen scissors, chicken snips, dressmaking/tailor scissors, garden tools, chainsaws, chisels and more.
About
Who we are

David is a second-generation sharpener. His father John sharpened for over 30 years in Sydney and was one of the first generation of mobile sharpeners in Sydney.
David’s father had him learning the art of sharpening at the age of 12.
​
In 1993 his father purchased a Saw Sharpening business in Lane Cove (Depend on Sharpening) and David began working professionally by his father’s side at the age of 17. David worked closely with his father for almost 10 years learning all that he could. The workshop was sold in 2001 where David stayed on for another year training the new owners.

In 2010 David’s father retired from doing sharpening and David took over.
In 2013 David started The King of Sharp and began mobile sharpening. David has always believed in doing the absolute best with every job, just as his father John did, and he is always looking to further master the art of sharpening.

There is a $40 minimum order and a $15 call out fee
